My name is Nikolaos Lagos and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2nd International I*PROMS Virtual Conference and the Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems session.

The session includes six high quality papers that address theories, standards, and applications related to reconfigurable manufacturing systems.

As a co-chair of this session, I would like to invite all participants to post constructive comments on the papers.
