I am Charles Eugene, on behalf of the co-chairs welcome you to the session Decision Support, IPROMS 2006!

Authors, thank you very much for your contribution to this session and to the conference. I am kindly expecting you to be active and participate in the discussions.

Participants, please register yourself to view the full papers. Feel free to post questions and comments, your active paritcipation can only make this conference a huge success. I hope that you will enjoy your stay in this session and would find many interesting pieces of work useful for your own research.

There are 8 papers submitted for this session from various aspects of Decision Support. Each paper will be accompanied with a short presentation for a quick view. Watch them and read the papers when ever and where ever you want; the theme of this virtual conference. Any suggestions of an ideal place is mostly welcome, should be with a good view and a Wi_Fi connection.

It would be a good idea if you have a look at the other papers in all the sessions of this conference, you can find common ground with other researchers from all over the world. Do not hesitate to ask questions and post comments regarding the papers. The main objective of the conference is to establish a "live" discussion and help each other into their research. Please, check the conference web site daily, probably there will be something new regarding your work or an interesting discussion could start.
