Semantic Web-based agent applications - from design to collaborative deployment
The paper presents two original studies on using semantic Web technologies in the context of agent-oriented applications. We detail two original multi-agent platforms (Omega and ADF) and their pragmatic deployment for semantic-enriched collaboration between Web entities within an e-enterprise. Several case-studies are also provided.

Dear Teodora et al.,
Good to see you again at our I*PROMS conference.
I was wondering if Omega is an open source platform, a commercial solution or an application developed at your Institute.
What is your opinion: Is industry interested in using semantic-based technologies?
And one more question: Any plans for ICT call 2 :)?
Best regards,
Rossi

Hi. I hope you can upload your presentation and answer the questions raised as soon as possible.

Dear Rossi
Thank you for your question and I am happy to be again here. The conference is great, so please forward my congratulations to Prof. Pham and to the Organizing Committee. About IST Call 2 I wait for suggestion as I would love to do something. Do you have any news from Vladan? About Omega I insert here the reply of Dr. Buraga (our expert on this topic)

Omega is not an open source project, but ADF is -- see
http://adf.sf.net/
Semantic-based technologies are already used in industry -- for
example, by several important companies like Sun, HP, Fujitsu, or IBM. See, for
example, http://blogs.sun.com/bblfish/ or http://www.mindswap.org/funding/.
Other industries can beneficiate by Semantic Web-based technologies.
One example is Biopax: http://www.biopax.org/
Best regards,
Dr. Sabin Buraga

I would like to welcome your interesting paper to this conference and hope you could submit your presentation as soon as possible. As the co-chairman of this session, I
would like to express my congratulation to you on a well written paper.
Your case study on meeting scheduling is very interesting
and it seems that the final results would be to accept or to reject. Can the ADF agents carry out any negotiation on behalf of their owners?
