Main Conclusion
The main objective of an advanced PSS is to provide operators with “how-to-do” and “what-to-do” types of information. The former is achieved through a freely browsed technical documentation. The latter is achieved through an expert advisor that provides assistance for more specific, complex, and difficult to learn tasks. These services provide a better support when they are inter-linked and are designed to be accessed in a task-based and user-centred manner.
