Figure 2 shows 3-piece tinplate aerosol containers being powder coated in the powder coating booth which utilises corona charging. The workpieces which were manufactured from large pre-decorated flat tinplate sheets, are powder coated using black epoxy polyester gloss powder. This is able to produce 60-70microns coating thickness and when cured gives a glossy surface finish.
