Dear Authors and Participants of Intelligent Automation Systems session,

It is really good to read your papers and follow some of the discussions which are taking place since the start of the conference. Could I encourage all authors to send your presentation files to the session co-chair, Maria Liu (liuh@cf.ac.uk) if you haven’t done it already. Please continue with the discussions and exchange of ideas, comments, suggestions etc. Please try to respond to any questions/comments as soon as you can.

ATTENTION : Papers with issues raised and not addressed satisfactorily may not be published.

Thank you for participating in IPROMS 2006. Though the conference has ended, authors are still requested to upload their presentations if they have not done so.

The website will be kept open for a while in the current form for people to view and download papers (we expect more than 180,000 visits to this website between now and IPROMS 2007).

PRIZE for the best presentation!!!!! 300 euroinis!!!

There's a prize for the best presentation at the IPROMS conference this year of 300 Euros. So if anyone hasn't done there presentation, maybe it's still not too late.

Welcome to the IPROMS conference, and particularly welcome to this session. The session is also called IPROMS, so let´s all assume that means this forum is the most important ;)

I´m Mark Ridley and am co-chairing this session together with Sameh Otri. We´re here to keep discussions going and to field any problems or questions you might have. Feel free to pester us as much as you would at a regular conference.

Thank you very much for all of you who have submitted their video presentations in this Special Session on "Innovative and Competitive Manufacturing Engineering - ICME"!

As the co-chair of this session, I strongly encourage the rest of the remaining authors to submit their video presentations as soon as possible (ASAP) as came voice to me from the Organising Committee that there will be a prize of EURO 300 for the best video presentation.
