Neural networks are computational models inspired by the human brain. The multilayered feedforward neural network has an input layer to receive inputs from sensors or other sources, an output layer to communicate with the outside world and one or more hidden layers for data processing to transform the inputs into outputs. The architecture of a feedforward neural network with one hidden layer is shown in this slide.
