Mechanical behaviour of 2124 Al/SiCp composites
Aluminum 2124 alloy with different volume fraction of SiCp (0%, 10%, 20%) composites were prepared by Powder metallurgy technique. The hot extrusion test was conducted to study extrusion characteristics of Al 2124/SiCp composites. The composites with different volume fraction of SiCp (0%, 10%, 20%) were extruded and measured in different conditions. Empirical models were developed for extrusion pressure. Constitutive equations have been obtained based on the multiple linear regressions from experimental results. The constitutive equations can be used for the prediction of extrusion pressure for 2124 Al composites with different percentage volume of SiCp.Results showed that Extrusion pressure is increses with increase in volume fraction of SiCp , Extrusion ratio and strain rate.

Dear Sir,
Although i apdated the paper (Mechanical behaviour of 2124AlSiC composites) I havent got any rply from u. I would like to insure that the paper will be included in the conference proceeding. Please inform me about that.
Dr Ramanathan

Dear Dr Ramanathan and Dr Osama,
Thank you for your enquiry.
Dr Fahmy has been away on leave. He will respond to you as soon as he is back at work.
Meanwhile, I can assure you that if your paper complies with all our requirements it will be included in the Proceedings.
Best regards.
D Pham.

Dear Dr. Ramanathan,
I am not sure what happened with your revised paper and shall check with Dr Fahmy and Dr Soroka. One of these colleagues will get back to you.
Thank you.
D Pham.

You should have received notification that your paper had been accepted as an email was sent to you. However, accept my appologies if for whatever reason you didn't actually receive the email.
Several emails have been sent out to all accepted authors informing them that the proceedings will be dispatched toward the end of 2007. At this moment we still expect them to be sent out by the end of the year.

Dear Authors,
Please make sure that your update your paper presentation to include the sound.
