The I*PROMS 2006 conference presentations

I'll try to explain some of the reasoning behind this year presentation format and why video of all things.
Last year we went ambitiousy with html based presentations derived from S5. This has caused a lot of confusion for the authors. To be fair, we are not in the business of changing people's habits. So for this year we decided to simplify the procedure. You can use your favourite tool to prepare a presentation. Then capture your presentation delivery off the screen. In my opinion this is a minor headache and complication, while maintaining the advantage of presenting the content for all (ok, most) platforms.

conference website TODO list

- Upgrade the file modules to restore the conference papers
- Upgrade the user access, to allow differentiation between different conferences
- Install the tag clouds functionality
- Install and configure the presentations import
- Update the website user guides
Website theme upgrade

- the front and a couple of other compound pages
- primary menu
