Integrated environment An integrated environment for the design,planning and control of reconfigurable robots

The research and development of the reconfigurable robots is divided to methods for design, planning, control and simulation as it is illustrated in Slide 11. Despite the least overlapping the partitioned approach is a barrier for further advancement in the science base and practice for the deployment of reconfigurable robots in the manufacturing industry of the future. Therefore the research efforts have to focus towards the establishment of an integrated environment as it is shown in Slide 11.
