Demonstration prototype

The “Testbed for Highly Distributed Control” at the Odo Struger Laboratory of the Automation and Control Institute, Technical University of Vienna provided the first test cases for validating our reconfiguration concepts. A prototypic implementation of an engineering and execution environment controls a pallet transfer system. The tests showed that the proposed basic reconfiguration services are sufficient for providing dynamic reconfiguration for lower level control.
