Complementary agents for intelligent cluster sensors technology

Complementary agents for intelligent cluster sensors technology

The purpose of this article is to discuss further expectations for a new concept of intelligent cluster sensors. New concepts of agents have to be implemented embedding new functionalities to dynamically manage cooperative agents for autonomous machines most required in manufacturing for zero defects production. The future trend is in intelligent clusters or distributed sensors in hybrid networks leading to a more global object control within a machine able to self organize into fault-tolerant and scalable systems.

From my understanding, each agent carries their own specific task. Is it possible for each agent has multiple tasks and communicates to multiple agents?

Thank you for your question. The purpose of the paper the paper is to use this intelligent (or smart: depending on references) capability of the agent and be able to form a network of communication. If you have access to read the paper, it will be very usueful. Nwana and others have already given their views on the structure of an agent.

Do you have any views on the technology that would provide the communications for such a system?  I.e. zigbee, bluetooth?
