Bees Special Session

Thank you chairman for your Welcome to IPROMS 2007 message!
Thank you Anthony for your personal welcome to all IPROMS 2007 delegates!
I am pleased to see the "Bees Special Session" in IPROMS 2007. No doubt, this session is expected to be sweet and entertaining to say the least. Come on everyone and try it for yourself and let's hear your comments...
I am in some corner of the globe where there is a festival to celebrate the output of Bees. Had I known this I could have organised a Bees Special Session here too.
It is past midnight here and that means IPROMS 2007 is on!
Bees get a buzz from warm flowers

An article in the BBC's Science/Nature column says "Bumblebees prefer to visit warm flowers and can use colour to predict the bloom's temperature, research suggests." Why not the Bay Bees follow the example of Bumblebees? Perhaps two new parameters, temperature and colour could be used to enhance the performance of the Bay Bees algorithm. Just a thought, may be worth trying!
Bees fly far

I’m one of the wasps back from the Island of Ischia after attending a very successful CIRP ICME 2006 conference! Afsin Bee and Mickey Bee did the entire Bay Bees proud by presenting the Bees algorithm and other specialities of the colony while the wasps were busy with “spreading excellence” and announcing IPROMS 2007!
