Application of eLearning supports an introduction of advanced ICT solutions in Car Recycling Enterprises.

Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements for several years is active in End-of-Life Vehicles recycling domain including research, technology, organization, law, education and car recycling dismantling station design. As a consequence of law and economical changes in Europe there is an urgent need for modern SMEs in recycling area. In existing SMEs the present level of ICT applications is often very low and it is necessary to train the management and technical staff of how to improve working practices in their companies by application of advanced ICT solutions. This can be supported by usage of the Best Enterprise Practice Methodology and modern eLearning techniques. This paper presents the application of eLearning to the area of car recycling supported by Leonardo da Vinci Programme.

Very interesting paper. Are there any preliminary results related to the acceptance of the platform? It would be interesting to see which aspects the learners prefer to traditional lecturing. For example, being able to work at any time is important for them?
