A simulation model of an industrial network

Authors: Luca iandoli, Cristina Ponsiglione, Giuseppe Zollo

Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical and computational model to analyze the dynamics of inter-organizational relationships among firms of a complex network, such as an industrial district. The aim of the proposed model is to verify, through generative experiments, the effects of some determinants of coordination mechanisms on firms and on the network’s performances. The conceptual model was implemented on Agentsheets platform and some experimental sets were developed in order to analyze the evolution of the network in different contexts

Dear authors,

What are the features of the Agentsheets platform apart from its simplicity? What other alternative platforms did you consider?

Thank you.

D Pham

PS: Is the publication date for Reference [2] correct?

Welcome to the IPROMS 2008 conference. I am Kok Weng Ng, the co-chairman of this session. I hope you can include a conclusion section in your paper and resubmit your paper again to allow the audience to understand your work better.
In addition to that, I also hope you could submit a video presentation of your paper as soon as possible.

I noted your paper with keen interest, particularly on PFTi which indicates the firm profit at cycle i. You also mentioned that profit is function of product quality. Firms that sell higher quality products will receive higher profit. I hope you elaborate how you assign the value for PFTi and how you measure a product's quality? Thank you.

Ng
