With the aid of PIMEX equipment, signals from the video camera and the measurement instrument are mixed to give information on the current level of the measured variable. The continuous signal from the measuring instrument is converted into a bar graph and displayed on the computer screen (Fig. 1). The height of the bar is proportional to the measured signal.
